How To Lodge A Complaint
Complaints against Sheriffs are lodged to the South African Board for Sheriffs in terms of section 44(1) of the Sheriffs Act 90 of 1986.
Complaints must be lodged in writing in a form of an affidavit by the person entitled to complain. Complaint by the third person will only be accepted if a written authorisation accompanies the complaint and if a valid reason is given for the inability of the person to lodge his/her complaint personally.
